Welcome to CIS Online.
The Centre for Inclusive Schooling is a key part of the Western Australian Department of Education and Training's - Statewide Specialist Services which also include the Hospital Schools Service, the Vision Education Service and the WA Institute for Deaf Education.
CIS Online provides:
- access to professional learning opportunities for teachers and school communities
- downloads of teaching and learning materials
- access to the CIS Library catalogue
- online support for CIS specialist teams
- links to related services and support materials
Centre for Inclusive Schooling (CIS) specialist teams provide support to Inclusive Education Teams based on local district education offices. As part of Statewide Specialist Services, provides direct support to districts and schools for students with disabilities and learning difficulties as well as regular professional learning opportunities and information online for teachers and other professionals working in WA public schools.
Support is provided by CIS through the following teams:
- Autism Intervention (on-line resources are being updated)
- Assistive Technology
- Disabilities High Support
- Learning Difficulties
Additional support is provided through the CIS Library. The Library provides loan information services to Department of Education and Training personnel and schools including trial services for equipment when required.
